Details

From the airport in Kathmandu you will be taken to your hotel. Over the next few days, you will get to know the capital of Nepal with a local, English-speaking guide. At the beginning of the meditation course, a cab will take you up to the idyllically situated monastery above the city in about 1 hour. Today there is enough time for a short hike in the surrounding area and to explore the monastery grounds. Your 10-day meditation course in English begins the next day. There are also occasional simultaneous translations into German. However, we cannot guarantee this. The meditation courses take place several times a year on fixed dates. For many guests, this meditation course is one of the most beautiful experiences they have ever had in their lives. On the last day, the cab will pick you up from the monastery and take you to the hotel in Kathmandu that you already know from your journey there for one night. The next day you take the bus to Pokhara and spend the night there. Then start your 6-day lodge trekking tour in the unknown, lonely western Aannapurna region at altitudes of up to 3,320 m. At the highest point, Mohara Danda, a spectacular viewpoint with a 360° panorama from Dhaulagiri over the Annapurna range to Manaslu (8,163 m) and Langtang awaits you. After the trekking tour, there is still enough time to see Pokhara. A comfortable domestic flight takes you back to Kathmandu in less than an hour for a final shopping spree. The following day, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Europe.

We will be happy to provide you with details of the tour on request.

This 6-day trekking tour takes you to altitudes of up to 3,320 m. The tour is designed to give you enough time to acclimatize to the altitude, which is crucial for success on a trekking tour. Most of the time we are on good hiking trails that are not particularly demanding. Parts of the tour also lead along unpaved and stony paths that require surefootedness. There are no technical difficulties. You must be able to carry your daypack yourself for the entire tour. The walking time is 4 – 6 hours and you will cover up to 1100 meters of altitude difference in ascent and descent. Even if the tour is advertised as an easy trekking tour, you should prepare yourself well for the trekking so that you can enjoy it.
