Dear customers and those interested in Tanzania,

the protection and safety of our guests are important to us! We have been traveling to Tanzania again since autumn 2021, taking all precautionary and hygiene measures.

Tanzania has no longer been a high-risk area since the end of January. The travel warning issued by the Federal Foreign Office against non-essential tourist travel to Tanzania has therefore also been lifted.
This is your opportunity to discover the African continent!

Our trips to Tanzania are currently still subject to the 2 G regulation for our guests.

Our local guide and the local team are fully vaccinated.

When booking a trip with Hiking Inspirations GbR, you are entitled to rights under the EU Package Travel Regulation, as our trips are NOT individual trips. For all our trips you will receive a travel insurance certificate after booking, which is a security for you if (in the unlikely event) Hiking Inspirations GbR declares insolvency. It secures the payments you have already made to us.

Safety on all Hiking Inspirations trips since 01.05.2021:

Temporary change to the GTC for all trips in the travel period between 01.05.2021 until
31.12.2022.

HI may demand or accept payment of the tour price before the end of the package tour,
if an effective customer money protection contract is in place and the customer has received the insurance certificate

(with names and contact details of the customer money insurer) in clear and vunderstandable form
was handed over.
The customer is only obliged to pay for the conclusion of contracts of the customer only 7 days before start of the trip and only if there are no official restrictions in connection with Covid19 at the place of travel
that would significantly impair the course of the trip. Irrespective of this, the
organizer to the customer directly upon conclusion of thess a travel insurancevoucher.

Hygiene and safety concept:

To protect our guests, hiking guides and service providers, we have published a comprehensive hygiene and safety concept, which you can view on our website at the bottom of each page after the legal notice. Our goal is to minimize the risk of infection on our trips. With these measures, we can comply with legal regulations so that mountain sports, hiking and trekking are possible even in times of Corona.

This hygiene and safety concept consists of 3 phases: before the start of the trip / during the trip / after the trip.

Before the start of the trip:

  • Avoid risk areas within the last 14 days before starting your trip
  • Active social distancing 14 days before the start of the trip
  • only travel in good health; do not travel if there is the slightest sign of illness
  • Keep your distance

On the journey:

  • Hygiene rules
  • Mouth and nose cover (mask)
  • Avoid eye contact
  • Disinfect rental equipment
  • Keep your distance
  • Hand hygiene

After the journey:

  • Self-monitoring by our guests/hiking guides/cooperation partners up to 14 days after the end of the trip
  • Disinfect material
  • Protecting the environment through active social distancing

Mandatory equipment for trips from fall 2020:

  • Mouth & nose cover (mask) in sufficient quantity depending on the length of the trip
  • Disinfectant for hands + surfaces
  • Gloves
  • Hut sleeping bag for overnight stays
  • Pillowcase for overnight stays
