Details
From the airport in Kathmandu you will be taken to your hotel. Over the next few days, you will get to know the capital of Nepal with a local, English-speaking guide. At the beginning of the meditation course, a cab will take you up to the idyllically situated monastery above the city in about 1 hour. Today there is enough time for a short hike in the surrounding area and to explore the monastery grounds. Your 10-day meditation course in English begins the next day. There are also occasional simultaneous translations into German. However, we cannot guarantee this. The meditation courses take place several times a year on fixed dates. For many guests, this meditation course is one of the most beautiful experiences they have ever had in their lives. On the last day, the cab will pick you up from the monastery and take you to the hotel in Kathmandu that you already know from your journey there for one night. The next day you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Germany.
We will be happy to provide you with details of the tour on request.

Recommended clothing:
Appropriate clothing – shoulders and legs covered up to above the knee, no tops, no shorts, no miniskirts, no muscle shirts – these are required in the monastery. Comfortable clothing is very pleasant for the meditations. It can get chilly in the fall. Here we recommend warmer clothing and a down jacket. The rooms cannot be heated.
Warm socks are an advantage during the meditations. Shoes must be taken off in front of the temple. A large scarf as a shoulder cover is very useful.
